Introduction to Nepal Trip Overview:

The tour starts with Kathmandu, the bustling capital city of Nepal. The place offers a great experience to explore ancient temples, monuments, and landmarks, and immerse yourself in the rich cultural heritage. The journey continues to Bandipur, a charming Newari town nestled on the hilltop. Bandipur is known for its traditional architecture and stunning views of the Himalayas.  After Bandipur, we tour Pokhara, a picturesque city located on the shores of Phewa Lake, renowned for its natural beauty and adventure activities. Following the refreshing time at Pokhara, we visit Chitwan. 

Chitwan is home to a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the most popular national parks in Asia, where you can experience the thrill of a jungle safari on the back of an elephant and witness diverse wildlife. Lastly, you will explore Bhaktapur, after returning to Kathmandu. Bhaktapur is also one of the other UNESCO World Heritage sites and one of the three royal cities in the Kathmandu Valley, known for its rich cultural heritage and traditional pottery. The Introduction to Nepal, package is the perfect way to explore Nepal and its people and make an unforgettable experience.

Itinerary Outline:

1st Day: Arrival in Kathmandu and Check-in to the hotel.

2nd Day: Sightseeing in Kathmandu and visiting world heritage sites.

3rd Day: Drive to Bandipur and check in to the hotel. Roam around the local market and temples.

4th Day: Drive to Pokhara and check in at the hotel. Explore the city, including visiting Phewa Lake and the Peace Pagoda.

5th Day: Visit Sarangkot for a sunrise view and explore the city.

6th Day: Drive to Chitwan and check in at the hotel. Visit the Elephant breeding center and canoe ride in Rapti River. 

7th Day: Jungle safari and a visit to Tharu village, followed by the cultural show.

8th Day: Drive back to Kathmandu and check in at the hotel.

9th Day: Sightseeing in Bhaktapur, including a visit to the Bhaktapur Durbar Square, Nyatapol, Changunarayan, and Pottery Square.

Arrival in Kathmandu and Check-in to the hotel.

Welcome to Nepal, the mesmerizing country in the Himalayas. Upon your arrival, you will be greeted at the airport by our representative who’ll also be helping you to get transferred to your hotel. After freshening up and getting some rest, you can spend the rest of the day exploring the city on your own.

Sightseeing in Kathmandu

On the second day of the trip, you will spend the day taking a guided tour around the most famous cultural and historical sites in Kathmandu. We will visit the Pashupatinath Temple, one of the most important Hindu temples in the world. The Pashupatinath temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is also listed as a World Heritage site by UNESCO. We will then visit the Swayambhunath Stupa, which is also known as the Monkey Temple, the most important Buddhist shrine in Nepal. Lastly, we will visit the largest stupa in the world, Boudhanath Stupa, another UNESCO World Heritage site.

Drive to Bandipur and check in to the hotel.

The journey to Bandipur will start with an early morning drive. Bandipur is a charming Newari town located on a hilltop in the Tanahun district. It is very well known for its well-preserved traditional architecture, temples, and stunning views of the Himalayas. We will check in to our hotel in the town as we will be spending the night here. You can explore the local market and temples in the remaining time.

Drive to Pokhara and check in at the hotel.

3 Hrs Hotel Pokhara Breakfast
We will leave Bandipur early morning taking the drive forward toward Pokhara. Pokhara is a beautiful city located on the shores of Phewa Lake. We will check in to the hotel after we reach Pokhara. Pokhara is an adventurous city, where you can find multiple activities that you can perform as per your choice. You can explore the places like Phewa Lake, the Peace Pagoda, Davis Falls, and many more. You can also take a boat ride on the lake, visit the International Mountain Museum, or go on a paragliding or ultralight flight. Enjoy your day to the fullest in the lovely town.

Visit Sarangkot and explore the city

We will drive to the top hill, Sarangkot, the place that offers you a complete view of the whole city of Pokhara mountains and the peaks surrounding it. The trip offers breathtaking views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges. If you wake up early enough to drive to the place a very early morning, you will also be able to see the amazing view of the sunrise. After the Sarangkot Visit, we will return back to the city for further tours. As Pokhara has lots to offer to a visitor, you will be taken to multiple must-visit places around the city.

Drive to Chitwan and check in to the hotel

5 Hrs Hotel Chitwan 3 meals
After touring around Pokhara, we will drive to Chitwan. Chitwan is one of the famous and beautiful nature reserves located in the Terai region of Nepal. We will check in to the hotel and go for our further tour around the Elephant breeding center. You can also take a canoe ride on the banks of the Rapti River if it doesn’t get late.

Jungle safari on elephant back and a visit to Tharu village.

Hotel Chitwan 3 Meals
Chitwan is much known for being home to elephants and Rhinos. On this day, you will go for a jungle safari sitting on the back of an Elephant. You can also get the opportunity to see a wide variety of wildlife animals including rhinos, tigers, and crocodiles. After the Jungle Safari, you can also take a visit to Tharu village and learn about the local culture and traditions.

Drive back to Kathmandu and check in to the hotel

After having our breakfast in our hotel at Chitwan, we will drive back to Kathmandu. After we reach Kathmandu, we will check in at the hotel. After freshening up and getting refreshed, you can spend the rest of the day exploring the city on your own or rest.

Sightseeing in Bhaktapur

Hotel Kathmandu Breakfast and Farewell Dinne...
On this day, we will go for a guided tour of Bhaktapur. Bhaktapur has places that are on the list of UNESCO World Heritage sites. It is also known as one of the three royal cities in the Kathmandu Valley. We will visit the Bhaktapur Durbar Square, which is home to the 55-window palace, the Golden Gate, and the Nyatapola Temple. We will also take a short trip around Pottery Square, where you can see potters at work and buy souvenirs.

Departure from Kathmandu

You can go for any last-minute shopping for souvenirs or gifts for your family, friends, or relatives. If you plan to stay further, you can also start any extra trips or activities. You will be transferred to the International Airport if you are flying back.
