Detailed Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival  in Kathmandu

Upon your arrival in Kathmandu, our representative will meet you and escort you to your hotel. We will gather in the evening for a welcome dinner in a cultural restaurant in Nepal. Later, you will check into your hotel and prepare for your flight to Bhutan the next day.

Day 02: Arrival at Paro (by Druk Air), Thimphu

The scenic Druk Air flight from Kathmandu takes off with panoramic views of the beautiful Paro Valley and welcomes you into the forbidden kingdom of Bhutan.
You enter Bhutan, and the fresh air fills your lungs, providing a refreshing start to your journey. The scenic drive to Thimphu, the capital city, boasts a unique charm with its compact size and absence of traffic lights.
In the late afternoon, you will explore the vibrant Weekly Outdoor Market, which offers a variety of fresh produce and local crafts.
Lastly, you will enjoy a delicious dinner and spend the night at Hotel Jumolhari, ensuring a comfortable stay for your Bhutanese adventure.


Day 03: Thimphu -  Paro

Today, you can dive into the local people's culture and way of living. You will visit the National Memorial Chorten, a tribute to King Jigme Dorji Wangchuk. Likewise, you explore the Folk Heritage Museum, which showcases rural Bhutanese life through artifacts.

The Textile Museum displays traditional weaving and beautiful textiles. Besides, it also has a good collection of old textiles rich in color and design.
You'll also visit Zilukha Nunnery, Motithang Mini Zoo, and the Bhutanese Handmade Paper Factory. The days end as you depart to Paro, where you will enjoy dinner and spend the night at Hotel Olathang.

Day 04: Paro Hike to Taktsang

We drive past the majestic Drukgyal Dzong, a fortress that defended the valley against invasions.

Later that day, you will experience an exhilarating hike to Taktsang monastery, perched on a cliffside. Likewise, you enjoy the stunning viewpoint where Guru Padmasambhava arrived on a tigress.

After descending, we visit the ancient Kyichu Lhakhang temple, followed by an exploration of Ta Dzong, now transformed into the captivating National Museum. Immerse yourself in the treasures of Bhutan's history and culture.

Our adventure continues with a visit to the majestic Rinpung Dzong, serving as an administrative center and a monastic school. You stroll through Paro's bustling shopping district before enjoying a delicious dinner and a comfortable overnight stay at Hotel Olathang.

Day 05: Paro Departure (by Druk Air)

As you depart Paro Airport, it is time to bid farewell to your Bhutanese escort.

You will say your goodbyes and express gratitude for the memorable experiences and hospitality you have received throughout your journey. As you embark on your journey, you will board your Druk Air flight and take the cherished memories of your time in Bhutan.

Day 06: Final Departure from Kathmandu

You will be free for any last-minute gift shopping for your friends and family. We will help you transfer from Kathmandu International Airport to your final departure to your onward destination.
