Best Season for Short Treks

The short treks in Nepal can be completed in most of the seasons except in Monsoon when the road conditions get worse. Most of the time, the short treks in Nepal are during the months of April, May, September, and October. During these months, the weather is mild, and the sky is clear, offering excellent climbing conditions. The monsoon season in Nepal starts from June to August, and it is not suitable for trekking in higher altitudes due to heavy rainfall and the chances of landslides. The winter months from December to February are usually too cold and covered in snow, making it challenging to climb but still, you can trek to the places like Kathmandu which don’t face any snowfall.
