The 4-day, 3-night Bhutan trip can be a quick introduction to Bhutan for you. The tour is best for you if you have a limited time to stroll around the place. Bhutan is a cultural kingdom that draws vast numbers of tourists with its peaceful, Himalayan-based culture and way of life. People in Bhutan have preserved their ancient cultural way of life, giving us an excellent opportunity to learn about Bhutan in detail through the Bhutan Trip.

Bhutan is one of the least developed nations in the world and prioritizes happiness over growth. The nation is also home to monasteries, stupas, temples, shrines, cliffs, mountains, and a rich culture and tradition. You'll have four days and three nights to enjoy the natural beauty and cultural way of life in Bhutan.

Day 01: By Air - Paro (by Druk Air) Transfer to Thimphu.
Day 02: Thimphu valley sightseeing ( hike to Tango Monastery)
Day 03: Thimphu - Paro (hike to Taktsang Monastery)
Day 04: Paro - Departure (by Druk Air)

Detailed Itinerary

Day 01: Flight to Paro (By Druk Air) and Transfer to Thimphu.

The flight to Paro with Druk Air will give you a taste of the country's spectacular beauty. You can enjoy the magnificent views in the clear weather. You will be briefed by our guide and transferred to Paro town for lunch after clearing visa customs. After lunch, we will visit the National Museum of Paro, built in the seventeenth century, holding the artifacts of Thangkas, stuffed animals and birds, the history of Bhutan, textiles, and armor, household objects.

We will also visit the Rimpung Dzong and then depart to Thimphu, the modern capital of Bhutan.

The 1.5-hour drive will take us to Thimphu, made up of just three lines of shops, and is the only capital in the world without traffic lights. We will visit the Tashi Chhoedzong, which is also known as the fortress of the glorious religion . Later in the evening, we will take a short visit to the Handicrafts Emporium, which sells a wide range of Bhutanese handicrafts—dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 02 Thimphu valley sightseeing - Hike to Tango Monastery

After an early breakfast, we will take a short drive to the Sangaygang viewpoint to catch views of the Thimphu valley. We will also visit the Motithang Mini Zoo. The trip will then continue with a visit to Zilukha Nunnery and a short drive to Tango Monastery, with a picnic lunch. The hike to the Tango Monastery will take around 45 minutes. The monastery was founded in the thirteenth century and currently houses more than 150 monks. The monks are doing their master's and a degree in Buddhist Philosophy and meditation.

We will then walk down to the motorable road and drive back to the Thimphu valley, the capital city. We will also visit the Folk Heritage Museum. The museum will connect people to the rural past of Bhutan through the exhibition of items and artifacts used in rural households. In the evening, we will visit the National Memorial Chorten, which was built in honor of the late King Jigme Dorji Wangchuk. We will stay overnight at Thimpu.

Day 03 Thimphu to Paro (Hike to Taktsang Monastery)

We will take an early drive to Paro for your hike today. The hike from Paro Taktsang (or a horse ride if you prefer) to the Taktsang monastery (Tiger's Nest) is easy and might take about 2 hours. After reaching the viewpoint, you will enjoy the stunning view of the monastery, where Guru Padmasambhava landed on the back of a tigress in the eighth century. Your lunch will be served at the viewpoint cafeteria, followed by a drive to the ruins of Drukgyal Dzong, 16km from the valley.

The Drukgyal Dzong was built by the great Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyal, father and unifier of medieval Bhutan, in 1647. It was later destroyed by accidental fire, leaving it in ruins as an evocative reminder of the great victories it was built to commemorate. You can also explore the ramparts. On a clear day, you may experience an unforgettable view of Mt. Jhomolhari (7,314 m) if the weather favors you. On the way back, you will also get a chance to visit one of the oldest temples in Bhutan, Kyichu Lhakhang. The day ends with an evening walk through Paro's central shopping district.

Day 04 Paro Departure (By Druk Air)

After your last breakfast in Bhutan, you will drive back to the airport. One of our representatives will help you complete the exit procedures and bid you farewell at Paro airport. Goodbye, and hope you have a happy journey back home.
