Pikey Peak trek-8 days is a trekking adventure that promises to be nothing short of extraordinary. The eight-day odyssey through the Solukhumbhu region, often referred to as the lower Everest Region, offers a remarkable blend of natural beauty and cultural immersion.

The unforgettable journey through the heart of Nepal, where the Pikey Peak trek unveils the hidden beauty of the lower Everest Region and grants you a breathtaking view of the legendary Mount Everest. It takes place along a lovely trail in the Solukhumbhu, lower Everest Region.

The trek starts from the little town of Shivalaya after leaving Kathmandu on a private vehicle. Since most travellers choose to fly to Lukla, there won't be many hikers on the trails in the lower Everest region.

But what is so remarkable about the Nepal Vision's Pikey Peak trek?

Pikey Peak Trek Trip Introduction

Pikey Peak Trek is a wonderful adventure of eight days where you are treated to dramatic landscapes, cultural immersion and majestic mountains.  During this trek, you'll experience a diverse cross-section of Nepal's landscapes and cultures. Accommodation will be in tea house lodges operated by local residents.

Along the way, you'll pass through picturesque villages surrounded by terraced fields and immerse yourself in the unique cultures of the Tamang and Sherpa ethnic groups.

As you ascend, the scenery changes, and you'll encounter lush forests of oak, birch, rhododendron, and bamboo. You reach higher altitudes, and near Pikey Base Camp, you'll enter the alpine region. Pikey Peak itself stands at 4,065 meters with a stunning panoramic view of the Himalayan range.

From the summit, you can marvel at Mount Lhotse, Mount Numbur, and the majestic Mount Everest. Sir Edmund Hillary once described this trek as the most amazing vantage point to view Mount Everest. Another highlight of the journey includes a visit to the Thupten Chöling Monastery.

Pikey Peak Trek is an eight days amazing trip with a blend of natural and cultural excursions within a limited time frame.  So, why wait to join us on our short pikey peak trek and immerse in the wonderful trekking experience of the Everest region.
