Chitwan National Park Wildlife Tour is a tour to explore the nature and wildlife of Nepal. Chitwan National Park is also one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. It is one of the most popular destinations for Eco-tourists and wildlife enthusiasts. The word Chitwan stands for "Jungle of Tigers." Chitwan is also home to the endangered species of the Royal Bengal tiger.
The Subtropical forest of Chitwan National Park offers a reliable habitat for a variety of wildlife & flora. Royal Bengal Tiger, One-horned Rhino, Asiatic Elephant, Marsh Crocodile, Wild Boar, Sloth bear, and several species of deer including Spotted, Barking, Samber, and Hog inhabit this region. With more than 350 species of birds found in the region, Chitwan has also established itself as a haven for bird-watching enthusiasts.
The ethnic tribe of "Tharu" populating the region has a culture and tradition of its own which is offering an authentic Native-cultural experience for outsiders. You will have many choices for accommodation here, either staying in a well-furnished hotel/lodge outside the park or in more of an indigenous hut built deep inside the forest. You can also choose to settle on the bank of the Rapti River, which offers boating, relaxation, and sightseeing experiences as well.
1st Day: Drive from Kathmandu to Chitwan (145 km)- 5 to 6 hours drive
2nd Day: Full Day Jungle Activities in Chitwan. Major activities are- Elephant Back Safari, Jungle Drive, Canoe trip, nature walk, Tharu Village walk, Visit to the Elephant breeding center, etc.
3rd Day: Departure from Chitwan to Kathmandu

Day 01: Drive from Kathmandu to Chitwan National Park ( 155kms)- 4 to 5 Hours Drive
With a morning wake up and after your breakfast, we will drive by our private vehicle. We will go through the countryside of Nepal and after a few hours following the Trisuli river bank, at around 1 pm, we will reach Chitwan national park. A hotel representative will come to pick you up at the bus station and help you with your transfer to the hotel. After check-in to the hotel and being refreshed, we will brief you about the full itinerary and head on for activities. On the first day, the trip will lead you to a village walk and sunset view. We will also go for a visit to the elephant breeding center (if possible) and the evening cultural program. Overnight.
Day 02: Full-Day Jungle Activities in Chitwan
On this day, we will have a full day in Chitwan for the wildlife safari program. After the early morning breakfast, you will head to the Elephant Back safari which will further take you inside the jungle and will provide you with an excellent opportunity to witness wildlife animals. We will explore the surrounding of the national park. We will visit the elephant stable in the evening or take a session at the elephant bathing center. Overnight at the Resort.
Day 03: Departure from Chitwan to Kathmandu ( 155kms)- 4 to 5 Hours Drive
We will go for a nature walk and a bird-watching trip after breakfast in the morning. We will then go for a canoe trip (small wooden rafting in Rapti River) in the late morning. We will then visit the Elephant breeding center. After this, we will return back to the hotel. We will prepare to drive back to Kathmandu in the afternoon.

The permit for Chitwan national park is mandatory. You must take permit to enter the Chitwan National Park. The permit you took will be valid for a day only. The cost is Rs 2000 per person for a day.
The Chitwan National Park is a worth place to visit. With lots of animals in the journey, which includes monkeys, crocodiles, rhinos, elephants and other various endangered animals. Besides, there are plenty of activities that you can perform during the Chitwan National Park tour which will make your time well spent.
