Trip Introduction:
Discovering Nagarkot with Intensive Day Hike is a day tour to explore a great valley 32km away from the capital. Nagarkot has a reputation as the top spot near Kathmandu for enjoying Himalayan views. The village is packed with hotels lining a ridge, affording one of the broadest possible views of the Himalayas, with eight ranges visible (Annapurna, Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, Langtang, Jugal, Rolwaling, Everest, and Numbur). The natural beauty of Nepal is very well organized and astonishing. Among the different destinations, it can be said that Nagarkot is one of the international tourist destinations, with spectacular views of the Himalayas. You can also enjoy the view of sunrise and sunset spread over the mountains with the diverse climate and culture around Nagarkot.
We have planned your day trip designed to offer an excellent opportunity to view and explore the myriad wonders of nature at its best with rural Nepal and the majestic and enchanting view of mountains residing in this beautiful country. One should not miss an opportunity to measure this trail with their own footsteps. This hike offers the magnetic view of mountains along with the tradition, culture, and daily life of villagers. Another prime focus of this hike is the world heritage site around Nagarkot at the Changunarayan, which is full of ancient art descriptions, something worthwhile to visit. The divine aura of this ancient temple and its brief architecture will give you a feel of divinity and ecstasy that further vibes out as soothing essence to oneâs body, mind, and spirit. As to start this journey one should first drive from Kathmandu to Nagarkot (2,200m) then hike to Changunarayan for about 3 to 4 hours and an hour drive back to the hotel in Kathmandu.
To begin this journey, we will first take a car from Kathmandu to Nagarkot (2,200m). After strolling around at the place, we will then climb for around three and a half hours to Changunarayan. We will take a car back to our accommodation in Kathmandu.

Nagarkot is famous for the sunrise view and the view of peaks like Mt. Everest, Ganesh and others. People from far away visit Nagarkot to enjoy the view of all the city from the Tower at Nagarkot.
If you are lucky enough that the weather is clear, sunny and not gloomy, you can then enjoy the view of eight mountains. The mountains that can be seen from Nagarkot are Annapurna, Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, Rolwaling, Everest, Jugal, Numbur and Langtang.
The best time to visit Nepal is from October to April. The time during these months can be enjoyed to see the mountain peaks and sceneries which gives the unique feeling which you can feel from no other places.
