The Panchase Trek in the Annapurna Region is a short and low-altitude off-the-beaten trail that starts from the southwest side of Pokhara. The trek offers us a significant opportunity to observe the various species of birds along with the gigantic Mountain Fishtail, Dhaulagiri, and Annapurna Ranges.

Panchase Trek Introduction

The trek will start by boating through Phewa Lake. The trek then heads to the World Peace Pagoda (1,050 m), which is only an hour's walk from Phewa Lake. After relaxing, our real adventure begins in the village of Bhumi. For food and accommodation, Bhumdi Village (1,520m) offers basic teahouses and local family homes. Afterward, we will explore Panchase Hill (2,500m), which offers panoramic views of the popular mountains.

The trek is suitable for trekkers from young to old, families with children, and newly married couples. The trekkers are not supposed to be well experienced in mountaineering and climbing for Panchase trekking.  All levels of trekkers can easily accomplish this trek without ascending higher altitudes. You are recommended to trek during the season of February to May and August to December.
