Trishuli River Day Rafting

Trip Introduction:
Trishuli River Day Rafting is the best day trip you can do in Nepal. It is also one of the most popular river trips in Nepal. The river Trishuli has something to offer everyone, from the most experienced kayaker to the first-time rafter. It’s an ideal year-round river (even during monsoon). It is just a stone's throw away from Kathmandu offering a pool drop style of a big volume river. A rafting trip on the Trishuli will quench the white water desire of travelers with limited time in Nepal. The river meanders its way through scenic gorges and impressive valleys on its way to the plains.

This trip leaves plenty of time to chill out, play rafting games, do some cliff jumps, swim, and soak up the surreal atmosphere of Nepal’s river life. The rafting conveniently ends at the riverside camp. You can also choose to extend your trip and enjoy a night at our million-star beach camp and soak up as much river life. Get off the bus and on the river!

How do we embark on this trip? 
We will organize transport from your hotel to the drifting adventure of Charaudi. This is the place to raft on the river, about 2:30 hours from Kathmandu. After drift preparation, orientation, and safety information, we will start a three-hour rafting adventure on the Trishuli River. Our rafting trip will end around 3 p.m. in Kurintar. After hot lunch, we will drive back to Kathmandu. After a day of rafting on the Trishuli River, you can also choose to drive to Pokhara or Chitwan.

What do we provide?
As part of Trisuli Rafting, along with our high-quality self-bailing rafts, we will provide helmets, plastic paddles, wetsuits, lifejackets, and a first aid kit. We will provide plentiful, healthy, and hygienically prepared food and drinks. If you want to stay overnight, we have AC rooms or Tents available as well. Sleeping bags can be supplied upon request. All our equipment is of the highest quality, clean, and well-maintained.

What to bring?
Please bring with you your shorts and a T-shirt or swimwear for the river adventure, suitable footwear for wearing in the raft, warm clothing for the evenings, a towel, sunblock, and your camera. A flashlight is also useful.

To join a rafting trip on the Trishuli River, you don’t need any previous experience. The trip is also great for first-timer and families. Actually, this trip is one of our all-time favorite trips.

Kayaking: 
This river is also ideal for the first-time kayaker wanting to learn a thing or two about whitewater. Though it should be noted in the monsoon it's definitely not a river for the faint of heart or less skilled. You can also try the Canyoning and Rafting trip if you are further interested. The trip is ideal to choose day rafting and day cannoning at once which will be then followed by the overnight stay at the riverside beach.
 

Time Scheduled: 
6:30 AM: We will pick you up from your hotel and transfer you to the bus station
7:00 AM: Drive from Kathmandu to Charaudi (Rafting start point)
9:30 AM: Briefing about the safety and other information regarding your rafting
10:00 AM: Start rafting 
1:30 PM: Lunch at the rafting ending point. After lunch, we will drive back to Kathmandu and transfer to your hotel and the trip ends!

Note: Private Transportation from Kathmandu to the rafting start point and after rafting, return back to Kathmandu is included in our trip package.
