Muldai Trek Introduction

Muldai View Trek is a marvellous trekking experience with an immersion in Nepal's unique culture. The trek starts with an elevation of 1,300 meters (4,264 feet) in the vibrant city of Kathmandu. 

However, the true enchantment unfolds over just 7 days as you ascend to heights of up to 3,637 meters (11,930 feet), encountering breathtaking mountain vistas, dense forests, picturesque villages, and more.

The adventure commences with a scenic flight to Pokhara, where you'll find yourself amidst the rugged mountain terrain. From Pokhara, a brief drive takes you to Kimche, the starting point of your unforgettable trek. Our well-crafted itinerary ensures a leisurely pace and allows ample time for exploration and immersion throughout the journey.

Over the course of 8 days, you'll traverse diverse landscapes, from the lush woodlands of Ghandruk to the higher altitudes of Tadapani and Dobato, ultimately reaching the mesmerizing Muldai View Point. The climax of your expedition is an early morning hike to Poon Hill, where panoramic views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges await.

But that's not all. The adventure ends with amazing scenery and experience, giving you a complete taste of Nepal's diverse topography and culture, all in a compact 8-day package.
 

Itinerary Overview:

1st Day: Arrival in Kathmandu and Trek Preparation
2nd Day: Fly from Kathmandu to Pokhara (800m/2,524ft, 25 minutes flight), drive to Kimche (1,610m/5,281ft, 2 hours 30 minutes), Trek to Ghandruk (1,940m/6,365ft, 2 hours).
3rd Day: Trek from Ghandruk to Tadapani (2,600m/8,530ft, 3 to 4 hours)
4th Day: Trek from Tadapani to Dobato (3,350m/10,990ft, 4 to 5 hours)
5th Day: Visit Muldai View Point (3,637m/11,930ft), Trek to Ghorepani (2,874m/9,429ft, 4 to 5 hours)
6th Day: Hike to Poon Hill (3,210m/10,529ft), then trek from Ghorepani to Hile (1,480m/4,855ft, 5 to 6 hours), Drive to Pokhara (800m/2,625ft, 2 hours 30 minutes)
7th Day: Drive back to Kathmandu from Pokhara 6-7hrs.
8th Day: Final departure

Your journey commences with your arrival in Kathmandu, Nepal's bustling and culturally rich capital city. At an elevation of 1,300 meters (4,264 feet), Kathmandu provides a tantalizing preview of the mountainous terrain that awaits you. You arrive and have the opportunity to rest and prepare for the upcoming trek. This day serves as a pivotal preparation period where you can meticulously check your gear, connect with your fellow trekkers, and engage in insightful discussions with your experienced trekking guide, setting the stage for the exciting adventure that lies ahead in the Annapurna region.

Today, your adventure commences with a brief yet scenic flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara, a picturesque city nestled beside the tranquil Phewa Lake. From Pokhara, a captivating 2.5-hour drive takes you to Kimche, the starting point of your trek. As you leave behind the urban bustle and journey into the heart of the Himalayas, you'll embark on your trek towards Ghandruk, a charming village perched at an elevation of 1,940 meters (6,365 feet). This initial trek, which spans approximately 2 hours, provides an ideal opportunity to acclimatize to the trekking environment while savouring the stunning natural surroundings, marking the beginning of your immersive trekking experience in the Annapurna region.

On the third day of your adventure, you'll continue your trek; as you ascend through the pristine Annapurna region, you'll make your way to the tranquil haven of Tadapani, nestled at an altitude of 2,600 meters (8,530 feet). The trek, which typically spans 3 to 4 hours, offers ample time to immerse yourself in the captivating natural beauty of the surroundings. Lush forests and awe-inspiring mountain vistas will accompany you on this scenic journey, providing a glimpse of the remarkable landscapes that await you in the days ahead; each step is a testament to the allure of the Annapurna region.

As day four unfolds, your trekking adventure leads you to Dobato, a destination perched at a higher altitude of 3,350 meters (10,990 feet). The trek to Dobato, spanning around 4 to 5 hours, carries you deeper into the Annapurna region, and with each step, the landscape undergoes a transformative shift. As you ascend to greater heights, the terrain evolves even more impressive mountain views and a true sense of being immersed in the heart of the Himalayas. Dobato serves as a captivating waypoint along your journey and provides a tantalizing glimpse of the rugged mountainous landscapes that await you on the path ahead.

The fifth day unfolds with a series of unforgettable experiences. You'll start your day by embarking on an enchanting journey to the Muldai View Point, perched at an impressive altitude of 3,637 meters (11,930 feet). From this elevated vantage point, panoramic vistas of the surrounding mountains paint a breathtaking canvas before your eyes, a sight that is sure to leave you in awe. Later in the day, your trek continues, leading you to the inviting village of Ghorepani, nestled at an altitude of 2,874 meters (9,429 feet). This day's trek, lasting around 4 to 5 hours, provides an opportunity to relish the captivating natural beauty while marking a pivotal point in your journey through the Annapurna region, with Ghorepani with a welcoming respite amidst its cozy surroundings.

The day begins with an early morning hike to the iconic Poon Hill, perched at an elevation of 3,210 meters (10,529 feet). Poon Hill offers a breathtaking panorama of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges, an experience that promises to highlight your journey. After absorbing this awe-inspiring sunrise, you'll continue your trek to Hile at 1,480 meters (4,855 feet). The trek from Ghorepani to Hile lasts around 5 to 6 hours and leads you through diverse landscapes, allowing you to witness the ever-changing beauty of the Annapurna region. From Hile, you'll embark on a scenic drive back to Pokhara, where you can relax, reminisce about your trekking adventures, and appreciate the memories you've created in this captivating region of Nepal.

On the seventh and final day of your adventure, you'll embark on a captivating journey, leaving the serene lakeside city of Pokhara behind as you set out on a scenic drive back to the vibrant capital of Kathmandu. The approximately 6 to 7-hour drive traverses diverse landscapes and charming villages, offering you a rich tapestry of Nepal's natural and cultural beauty.
