We will take a cycling trip around the valley. We will go through the places taking short breaks. You will have plenty of options to choose from to trek. Some of the famed destinations are:
1. Mudkhu-Tokha Trail
The route through Mudkhu Tokha is perfect for beginners and is easily accessible from Thamel. It will only take us half a day to complete this route since it takes between 3 and 4 hours to return to your hotel.
2. The road to scar Kathmandu
One of the most challenging trails, routes to Kakani (2,030 meters), is located in a perfect mountain station on the edge of the valley before heading to Budhanilkantha, and then back to your hotel in Kathmandu. This route will last from 5 to 6 hours.
3. Trail of Budhanilkantha-Kapan
The technical trip takes around 5-6 hours, from Kathmandu, go Budhanilkantha, then move to Kapan, Kathmandu, and then back to the hotel. This route passes through two Buddhist monasteries. If you are interested and have the time, you can visit gompas (monastery) and interact with nuns and monks.
4. Jamacho route
This is another one of the famed Thamel bicycle route, but harder than Mudhkhu-Tokha Trail. This gentle ride route will take you to the Nagarjun hill in the Shivapuri National Park (2,128 meters) on 21 kilometers of winding road. The top view offers some incredible views. It takes from 5 to 6 hours to complete.
