Itinerary

Welcome to Nepal, a country in the Himalayas. Our representative will be waiting for you at the Tribhuvan International Airport to help you with the transfer to your hotel in Kathmandu. After taking some time to re-energize, we will meet again for the welcome dinner and short trip briefing at a traditional Nepalese restaurant in the center of Kathmandu. Overnight at the hotel.

After breakfast, we'll begin our guided tour of the Kathmandu Valley's cultural world heritage monuments, which includes the Hindu temple Pashupatinath, the largest stupa in the world, Bouddhanath, and the monkey temple Swoyambhunath Stupa. We will also visit the famous Kathmandu Durbar Square to explore its temple, distinctive buildings, and Kumari ( the living goddess). We will also have a discussion and introductions with our fellow trekking crew members in the evening before your adventure journey.

We will drive from Kathmandu early morning for the arduous trip to explore Mount Everest. We will travel to Jiri by local bus passing through the stunning Nepali countryside. You will get some time to discover the surrounding area in Jiri. Jiri is a large town that is also a hill station. We will spend the night at the hotel in Jiri.

The first day of our adventure walk begins. We will pass through hospitable locals, farm fields, and stunning country views from the tops of each mountain. We will travel through multiple uphills and downhills as we make our way to Bhandar, a small settlement. We will spend the rest of the day taking a tour of the nearby communities.

We begin our hike early morning after breakfast and descend a hill at Likhu Khola. After passing a bridge, a meandering trail will take us to Kinja, a charming little settlement. After a few hours of arduous travel, you will finally arrive at Sete, a small Sherpa town perched on a ridge in the heart of a rhododendron forest. After lunch, we will continue the long journey up taking us slowly to a hill. You will have fantastic views of the surrounding landscapes and distant communities from here.

The hike on the day will take you through a lovely rhododendron woodland, past a few little scattered farm cottages and teahouses, and finally up to Lamjura Pass, which is the highest point between Jiri and Namche Bazaar. Following a descent through the woodland, the track emerges at Traktor after one and a half hours. Before we will descend to the Sherpa village of Junbesi for an overnight break, we will traverse the north side of the valley around a notch.

We will take a day to spend in the area surrounding Junbesi. We will spend some in the town of Phugmochhe to explore the traditional Sherpa art center, which is just two hours walk to the north of Junbesi. A little detour on the way to Phugmochhe will enable a visit to Thubten Chhuling, a sizable Tibetan Buddhist monastery. You can also unwind for the entire day and spend the night in the lodge.

The trail will cross the Junbesi Khola below Junbesi on a wooden bridge. The trail will split immediately after the bridge. We take the trail in the left-hand, the upward-pointing trail that leads to Khumbu. The trail will turn north through Salung and descends thereafter. On a clear day, Mt. Everest can be seen from here in the direction of the northeast. Before we arrive at Nunthala(2,320m) and spend the night there, we will follow the shepherds' cottages and the secret path through dense woodland with various gorgeous streams on wooden bridges. Nunthala is a village that makes a great place to stay the night.

Our path will descend from Nunthala and continues to the Dudhkoshi River Bridge, passing through terraced fields and residential yards. We will continue our walk through trees and then ascend through terraces to get to the Rai village of Jubing (1,667m/5467ft). The route from Jubing will require a gradual ascent to the village that was built around a ridge. We will then continue the walk to Khari Khola.

Our trail will climb slowly but softly as it passes through a monkey-inhabited woodland. We will continue the ascend up to a cleft in the rock, then into another canyon on the ridge overlooking Paiya (Chitok), a Sherpa town totally encircled by forest. We will pass through the mani wall, which has views of Mt. Khumbila and Mt. Cho Oyu (8201 meters). The trail leaves the ridge and nearly heads directly east as it drops into Paiya Khola's vast gorge. The trail climbs up and down for an hour as it leads to a little tributary, next to the Dudh Koshi at Surkhe.

After breakfast, we will begin our ascent to Chaurikharka (2,713 m/8898 ft), a sizable dispersed town with a high school.  Chaurikharka also serves as the Khumbu region's breadbasket, as the ground is so rich for growing enough barley, wheat, and green vegetables. Our pathway will then connects us from Lukla to Phakding, which makes the route fairly congested with more hikers, porters, and pack animals. After a few hours of pleasant, scenic walking, you will arrive at Phakding for an overnight stay.

After breakfast, we will hike up to the bank of Dudh Koshi and cross it twice on tiny suspension bridges before arriving in Monjo, which is where the Sagarmatha National Park's entrance is located. We will cross a suspension bridge over the Dudh-Koshi river after entering the National Park boundaries to reach Jorsalle village, the last settlement before Namche Bazaar. Namche is famously known as the capital of Khumbu Region and a thriving trading center.

We will rest and give our bodies time to adjust to the increasing altitude by acclimatizing for a day in Namche Bazaar. You can spend your entire day at leisure by taking a visit to the Everest View Point hotel for a breathtaking panoramic view of Mt. Everest. You can also wander through the market if it's a Saturday. Most people go to the Saturday market to shop for their daily necessities as is just one shopping center nearby in the place. You may also go for a visit to the Sherpa Museum, a terrific place to learn about Sherpa culture and mountaineering history.

After an early breakfast, we will begin our hike with a stroll through the forest and a breathtaking view of the mountains. We will get a magnificent view of the eastern snow-capped mountains as well as the views of the huge peaks of Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, and Kwangde peak. The trek will then ascend the hillside through a forest-lined path to reach Tyangboche. The huge monastery at Tyangboche is one of the most stunning locations in the Himalayas. The mesmerizing views of the mountains are followed by the expansive field with campgrounds, teahouses, and lodges beneath the tall, magnificent, and lovely peak of Ama Dablam is worth the walk.

The trail will descend from Tengboche, meandering through a rhododendron woodland that will take us further to Deboche before reaching a bridge over the swift Imja Khol River. The plains to Dingboche navigate the beginning of the Imja Tse Valley. Dignboche is the center place as the most difficult routes towards the Makalu area and Hinko Valley via the Sherpani col (6,100 m/2000 ft) and Amphu Laptsa pass (5,780 m/18958 ft) are accessible from the place.

You will have a day of rest to rest and acclimatize before taking the final portion of the adventure. You can take a whole day off or embark on a day hike. You can take a three to four-hour trek to Chhukung (4,730m), which departs from Dingboche and heads east via the Imjatse Valley. The hike will be gentle, but you can feel the thin air as you gradually gain altitude approaching Chhukung. There are just a few teahouses with stunning views of the snow-covered peaks and glaciers in Chhukung. We will return to Dingboche for the night after the stroll.

We will take on the hard ascent to the Khumbu glacier's terminal moraine and continue along the difficult path to the accommodation at Lobuche throughout the day. We reach the renowned Lhotse Ridge towers over the huts after the long trek of five to six hours.

Our hike begins after an early breakfast, which will take us from a gradual incline to a steeper ascent. The steeper path will last for only about 30 minutes. A descent back down will lead us to Gorak Shep, where we will check into our lodge, passing over the windy and rocky trail with an amazing view of Mt. Pumori, Mt. Nuptse, and other magnificent peaks. After lunch, we will continue on our trip to the Khumbu Icefall and Everest Base Camp Trek via Jiri. The trail will cross stony dunes, moraines, and streams until we reach the base camp. Climbers congregate in Everest Base Camp Trek via Jiri in preparation for summiting Everest during the peak trekking season. We will explore the base camp and its surrounding glacier before making our way back to Gorakshep for the night.

Your guide will schedule a time for the morning's early-morning climb to Kala Patthar to get the most breathtaking view of Mt.Everest. You can get to the hilltop within two hours. The famous viewpoint offers the greatest views of Mount Everest, Nuptse, Pumori, Ama Dablam, and the entire Khumbu Himalayan range. After admiring this magnificent sight, we will descend back to Gorak Shep, have breakfast, and then turn around to travel back to Pheriche for the night.

We go easier with a very little pace up in the speed while we descend. We will surely bring wonderful memories back together with us. On this day, we will descend the slope toward Phungithanka via Tangboche, then continue the trek to Kyanjuma, the intersection of the three routes that lead us to Gokyo Valley, Khumjung Village, and Namche Bazaar. The rhododendron forest contains a great view of Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Tawache, and Lhotse as well as a variety of fauna, including Himalayan Griffons, Musk deer, and wild goats. You may tour a nearby area and take in the breathtaking environment in the evening. Stay the night at Namche.

After breakfast, we will set off on our return journey taking in the gorgeous mountain vistas and surrounding the lush greenery. We also stop at a Sherpa hamlet along the way. Finally, the trek will return back to Lukla. You will have few time to unwind after you reach Lukla to mark the end of your climb.

Our guide will help you transport you to your accommodation in Kathmandu after taking the early-morning flight. You may take some time to unwind, catch your breath, and recover at your hotel after your long Himalayan adventure with us is over.
