Our Climbing guide Dendi Sherpa leads second time a successful expedition to Everest in spring 2009. He leads the team of “Expedition for the new Constitution and world peace 2009, Nepal”. In addition, we have also organized a number of private expeditions, including the highly successful Everest expedition in spring 2007. We are now taking applications for our 2010 expedition. Please contact us at Nepal Vision if you are interested in joining our any peak climbing & other expedition team.
This season seven hundred eighty mountaineers from 98 different expeditions reached the summit of different peaks of the country in the three-month period, according to the mountaineering division of Ministry of Culture and Civil Aviation said.
This year 284 climbers from 29 different expeditions reached the summit of Mt Everest. The number of expedition, however, was lower than last year when 33 expeditions had scaled the highest peak in the planet.
However, eight climbers died while trying different peaks this season. Three persons died on Everest, while two died in Makalu.
