Mt. Everest Base Camp Expedition | (17 Nights/ 18  Days)
Nepal is a magical kingdom where Buddhist beliefs anchor an ancient people. Nepalese history, culture and tradition are alive in the many villages along our trekking path. Ancient script states that Buddhist Lord Manjushree peered at a crystal clear lake in the middle of the Himalayas and drained it with a pass of his sword. This valley, now known as Kathmandu, will be our starting and ending point.

On our adventure expedition to Everest's Base Camp, you will follow much of the approach route that expeditions take. Visiting legendary temples, crossing high mountain passes and stopping to drink tea in hillside villages are just a few of the treasures that you will discover. Our goal is not to travel through this area, but to experience this unique land and people known as the "Sherpa".

Traveling in Nepal is a learning experience and one that can not be fully explained. The combination of sheer beauty and spiritual awareness with the poverty and crowded streets of Katmandu must be experienced. Travelers to Nepal should consider this before they go. Having once decided, our trek to Everest Base Camp is awesome!

A day on Mt. Everest Base Camp Expedition
At 6 am your Sherpa will come to your camp with a chirpy good morning, followed shortly by a basin of hot water to wash in. Then it's time to order breakfast, pack up your kit and head off to trek for the next three hours through forests, hills, mountains and local villages. You'll stop for an hour at a particularly pleasant spot along the way for a well-earned hot lunch. Then you'll then walk another three hours or so, before you stop for the night. Then you can have tea or coffee and some light snacks, before exploring the area with trek leader or just relaxing until dinner is served in a dining hall.
The evenings are spent reading or chatting with your fellow trekkers and crew about the trip so far(s). A pack of cards is an asset on these nights; the crew love teaching various Nepali card games and learning new Western games. Finally, it's off to bed for a well deserved night's rest before you start it all again.
