Trip Overview
The river trip ends closer to Royal Chitwan National Park so many tourists who go to Chitwan combine this trip along with. The trip can be 1 or 2 day's placing you about 3 - 4 hours in the river each day.
Chitwan National Park (932 Sq. Km.) is one of the popular destinations for wildlife safari in Nepal which is situated in southern part of Nepal. As a legendary Chitwan has made of two local words which means Chita (Tiger) + ban (Jungle) = Chitwan which means jungle of Tigers which represents as dense wildlife habitat in the Chitwan National Park.
This National Park offers dense habitat wildlife & natural beauties and can be explore the many wild animals as Royal Bengal Tiger, Leopard, one horned Rhinoceros, wild Elephant, marsh Crocodile, wild Boar, sloth bear, and several species of deer including spotted, barking, Samber and hog deer. Also can be find more than 350 species of birds with good flora. Besides wildlife can be found local tribes called Tharu people, who have own unique culture and traditions. This also may chances to explore the local village during your Chitwan Safari and some highlights of world heritage sites of Kathmandu valley.

After lunch there is usually 2-3 hours rafting further and then the trip ends at the camping aside the river usually in an open beach. Your dinner is made of local or fresh hygienic foods. You are required to help guides and cooks. In the rest days, learn kayaking or excursion nearby villages are optional depending on interest of participants.
During the evening if the wood could be found you may enjoy with camp fire and overnight at tented camp.

Detail Itinerary for Trisuli River Rafting & Safari
Day 01: Arrival day in Kathmandu (1,300m/4,264 ft)
Welcome to Himalayan country of Nepal. Upon your arrival at the Tribhuvan intl. airport our representative welcomes you and assists to transfer in your hotel in Kathmandu. After time to get refreshed, evening you'll meet and transfer for welcome dinner in one of the typical Nepalese restaurant in the heart of Kathmandu and briefing about your trip and overnight at Hotel.
Day 02: Kathmandu valley sightseeing & rafting preparation
Today, morning we will ready after your breakfast to head on for our guided day trip to world heritage sites in Kathmandu valley and visit the highlights of Kathmandu and the surrounding areas. We take you to visit the pilgrimage sites of Hindus temple Pashupatinath, one of the most important shrine of Shiva temples on the subcontinent which is place of thousand of devotees, Saddhus (holy men/Baba), and can be seen the cremating body most of the times in the holy riverbank of Bagmati. Hundreds of monkeys are giggling with you and take a time to exploring surrounding area and visit Bouddhanath stupa an another pilgrimage centre which is most popular and important place for Buddhist. You can explore with rounding prayer wheel and flattering colorful flag with melodious chanting noise.
After your lunch at Bouddha visit Swoyambhunath stupa also known as monkey temple covering wide range of area with highest point of Kathmandu valley and enjoy the 360 degrees of valley view. After exploring the surrounding areas visit to Kathmandu Durbar Square which is old royal palace of Kathmandu and can be seen lot of temple, architectures and Kumari (living goddess) and walk in a freak street and late afternoon back to hotel and evening briefing about your trip, what is your responsibility, what to do and doesn't in the trip? You may have chances to ask remaining question and rest time explore the surrounding areas or simply relax at the hotel.
Day 03: Drive to Rafting starting point & Rafting start
With a morning wake up guide will pick up you and transfer to the tourist bus station and drive (approximately 3 hours with breaks) through the beautiful Nepalese countryside to reach the rafting starting point called Charaudi/Fishling and your Rafting Guide will received you and breaf about the trip and packed lunch will served before the rafting and you'll be ready for rafting with full of equipments and safety measures and 3-4 hrs raft and we stop today raft. Evenings enjoy with guide, local peoples or camp fire as per your interest and overnight at camp in the river bank.
Day 04: Half day Rafting and drive to Chitwan National Park
Today, with morning breakfast we start our raft with rapids and enjoy your day and after 3-4 hrs exciting raft we have concludes the rafting and we will drive to the tourist bus station and drive to Chitwan through the countryside view of Nepal and around 2-3 pm will reach at Chitwan national park, from your bus station hotel representative will come to pick you and transfer to the hotel. After check in to hotel and refreshed will brief about full itinerary and head on for activities. As a first day they will leads you for village walk and sunset view and will lead you visit elephant breeding center (if possible) and evening cultural program and overnight.
Day 05: Full day Jungle activities
Today, you will get a wake up called at 6 am with bed tea and after breakfast take you for Elephant safari and en-route to return for lunch will have an elephant bath and after lunch take you to visit canoe ride and jungle walk and back to hotel for overnight.
Day 06: Chitwan to Kathmandu
This morning we'll take you for bird watching in the river bank, where you can find more than 250 species of bird in Chitwan national park. This place is paradise for bird's watcher and after breakfast 9.00 am and departure for Kathmandu and arrives after 5 hrs drive to Kathmandu and check into hotel and rest of the time at leisure at hotel.
Day 07: Departure from Kathmandu or Trip Extending
Today is free or last minute shopping for souvenirs or gift to your family, friends or relatives for you until your departure flight/drive or to commence any extra trips or activities you may have booked with us. If departing, you'll be transferred to the International Airport for your departure flight to your onwards destination.

Useful information before joining this trip
General Tips for Rafting
- You should carry your small items in boxes so that it not replaced
- You should carry a first aid box with you and necessary medications such as bee-sting kits, insulin, inhalers, etc.
- Avoid carrying small items like cell phones, wallets and car keys.
- You should also carry sunglasses with strap so that it doesn't fall and to protect your eyes from ultra violet rays and sunscreen to protect your skin. Disposable waterproof cameras are easily available, easy to take along with you and take good quality pictures.
- Rafting clothes you should carry during summer are nylon shorts, simple swimsuit, sport shoes or sandals, and a hat. During spring and autumn you require some additional clothing. Don't wear cotton cloths while rafting, except in summers as cotton takes away the warmth from your body. Materials like wool, polyester, nylon and other synthetic materials will keep you warmer and will dry faster than cotton.
Rafting Group
In our rafting group the minimum number will be 2 persons and the maximum number will be 8 persons. For single also we organize the trip with single supplement (except some river most require minimum 2-4 persons), also you may join with our group in Kathmandu but make sure before you book the trip and concern more than 9 persons it doesn't mean we are not operating, we do on request. To keep the limit group size which means in one boat can be adjusted 8 pax and we can provide a best services and personal take care to our valuable clients.
Physical Requirements
Rafters who are making their plan to raft in the White Water River, this most require a good health condition and physically fitness with mentally refreshed. You are rafting on the different rapids & Rivers and depends on your rafting skill please choose the rafting grade. You most require some skill for above the grade 4+ so, as your experience please selects the trip.
Meals and Accommodation
We will provide all meals on full board basis during the Rafting period. We'll be providing from three times a day (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and tea & coffee during the meal), On camping trek we will be providing fresh & hygienic food prepared by our camp chef and assistance from our own kitchen, which we set up everyday. During the stay in Kathmandu meals on breakfast basis only are included in the price and during the Chitwan meals on full board basis. Snacks, bottled drinks including mineral water and alcohol are not included in the price.
We provide the twin sharing accommodation in Kathmandu and Tiger Temple lodge or similar in Chitwan. We will provide the twin sharing tented accommodation in tented camp during the rafting. 3 nights in Kathmandu and 1 night in rafting, 2 night's in Chitwan.
Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is most essential if you are going to for Rafting; which protect your financial securities and compensate your lost property as well as life security. We are requesting to bring your travel insurance with you. Travel insurance should cover helicopter evacuation to be required and in case of any emergency, we talking with your insurance company then provide the evacuation for your life safety. Unless here in Kathmandu available on request.
Climate and Weather
Nepal is a country of diversified in a topography starting from 60 meters to top of the world 8,848 meters. Basically we have dry season from October to May and the wet season (monsoon) from June to September. Mid September to end of the November is one of the best times and also March to May good to visit in Nepal. During the autumn the vegetation is lush after the rains of the monsoon and the air is clean and fresh and spring can be a little dusty but with pleasant & warm weather. December to February is good for visibility but cold in high altitude as well as Kathmandu too. Starting the rain from June and till the mid of the September and cloudy weather badly for visibility.
Passport and Visa Requirements
Before you traveling check your passport and validity date. You most require a valid passport to visit out of country. Passports most have at least 6 months validity after finish date of your trip. We most require your copy of full passport details with correct spelling written in your passport or scan copy is most preferable.
In Nepal you will require a visa which can be obtained in advance from the Nepalese Embassy from your country or you can get on arrival at the airport in Kathmandu with a cost of US$30 which is single-entry tourist visas and valid for up to 60 days and can be extended to a maximum of three months for an additional charge. Permits and fees
In Nepal, you most require a permits and fees to enter a certain areas such
as World heritage sites, National Park, restricted areas along climbing. All
the trip prices are including the cost of relevant permits and entrance fees.
Incase of any such conditions we will inform you if required any additional
permit fees before you make a booking with us.

We are happy to help and reply responsively as soon as possible. We'll hold your booking with us before your final decision. Please read properly our trip booking terms & conditions before your booking and fill up the booking form (download from our website) along with the appropriate deposit of 20 % per person in advance and payment made through the bank transfer or submit your credit card (visa/master card) details with booking form. When you choose the method of advance payment in an appropriate way, a signed and completed booking form will still be required for confirmation of booking. Bookings will only be confirmed once we receive a completed and signed booking form along with appropriate payment.
The final balance for your booking will be on arrival in Kathmandu. We will invoicing you after your arrival for the final balance along with other final pre departure details as appropriate. Your final invoice will show the price based on the previous quote at the time of invoicing.
