Sample day on "Everest 3 Passes Trek- Renjola, Chola & Kongma La "

Your day starts with a cup of hot tea served in your room by early morning. After which you will be required to pack your luggage and the porters loaded whilst we are having breakfast. After breakfast we set off on the trail, enjoying the pleasant cool of the morning. Your day's trek involves navigating numerous picturesque forests, hills, mountains and the local villages for approx the next three hours. Around mid-day we usually stop for a pleasant spot along the way for lunch. Your midday lunch break usually lasts around an hour and is a time to relax, pop the boots off and air those feet! Plenty of time is allowed for photograph in the route. After lunch you'll walk another two to three hours or so, before you stop for the night. You have enough time to change, freshen up, before exploring an area in evening.

Each evening is spent as per your interest, reading or chatting with the fellow trekkers and crew members or a pack of cards is an advantage; the crew love teaching various Nepali card games and learning new Western games. Our porters and Sherpa's also like to have singing and dancing competitions in which they love you to join in! After dinner, our trek leader will brief you about your next day plan and finally, it's off to bed for a well deserved night's rest before you start it all again.

Useful information before joining this trip

Trekking Group
For this Everest 3 Passes trek, in our trekking group there will be one trek leader, one assistant trek leader and one Sherpa porter for each group of two trekkers. Generally in our group the minimum number of tourist will be two and the maximum group size is ten. For single traveler, we organize the trip with single supplement.

Meals and Accommodation
In Kathmandu we use deluxe hotel to ensure a comfortable stay and relaxed environment before and after your adventure. All breakfasts are included at the hotel in Kathmandu. Rooms throughout the trip are in twin share. A single supplement room is available at an additional cost.

While on the trek, full board of meal (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and tea & coffee) will be provided. This is a lodged based trek so we use foods from the lodges on our entire trekking time. The lodges we overnight provide good quality food in sufficient quantities.

Whilst trekking on the Everest, the accommodation is in guesthouses/ Mt. Lodge which are basic structures, generally with shared facilities but very comfortable. In some guesthouses, showers are available; where there are no showers; there are private facilities in which you can sponge bath.

Acclimatization
We are experts at operating adventure trips at high-altitude destinations. Every trip we run has a realistic acclimatization program. Our treks are designed to allow gradual height gain, spread over a number of days. There is no way of predicting who will suffer from altitude but, for the vast majority of people, a slow ascent to height will produce minimal effects. Acclimatizing takes time and there are no safe shortcuts. All trips to altitudes in excess of 3,000 meters carry medicines essential to the treatment of altitude illness, and our leaders are trained to administer them and to know the symptoms.

Our Trek Leaders and Staffs
Your Trek Leader’s role is to ensure all aspects of the trip run smoothly. They will share their local knowledge, advice on how to fill your free time and co-ordinate the day to day running of the tour – although occasionally he may need your understanding if things do not go according to plan. If you have any problems on the tour, please let your Trek Leader know so that steps can be taken to put it right.

We are a well stabilized adventure company and we employed professional trek leader (who are based on English speaking and few are multi-lingual's) and required crew member (they have basic knowledge of communication). We also provide the training to our staff increasing their work efficiency. Before you leave for Nepal, think about the journey as more than just a quest to reach a destination. It doesn’t matter so much whether you actually reach your ultimate goals of your trek or not but You should be prepared to find joy and fulfillment in all the moments of your trip, including the less pleasant ones that you hadn’t expected. Preparing to keep a very positive frame of mind throughout your trip, along with good physical conditioning, will insure that you are ready to experience all the wonders of Nepal.

Health and Fitness for trekker
