For more than 15 years Nepal Vision has been combining the physical challenge of climbing and trekking with the cultural and aesthetic experiences of the last natural places on earth. Nepal Vision built its reputation as an early pioneer of professionally run 8,000m peak expeditions and many adventure activities. Continuously as our establishment date, we have been setting records by becoming the only company to have organized successful expeditions, trekking and other adventures work in the mountains.

We believe that our incredible guides and staff are the foundation of our programs. All of our guides are highly skilled professionals who have been selected based on their technical proficiency, proven safety records, careful judgment, patient and supportive teaching styles and great personalities. At a minimum, all of our guides hold current Wilderness certification and are proficient in technical rescue and evacuation skills. Our guides are dedicated to the world of alpinism, many having first ascents and successful summits on major peaks in the Cascades all the way to Mount Everest. In addition to their impressive personal achievements in the field, Nepal Vision guides bring a wealth of natural history, cultural anthropology and linguistic knowledge for their group's enlightenment. All of our guides and staff surpass the needs of our clientele and make their trip enjoyable beyond expectations.

Nepal Vision has been seriously committed to responsible travel and true sustainability since we began in 1992 when we established our philosophy and stated ideal which was to “take only photographs and leave only footprints”.

Almost two decades of pioneering adventure travel has proved the positive conservation outcomes when travel is managed for sustainability. We believe a responsible, long-term vision can deliver true sustainability and with the participation of all our clients and business partners the challenge is being met and achieved.

An example of this commitment to sustainability has been our efforts to preserve the forests of Nepal. This has involved changing an entrenched culture of burning wood for fuel. Nepal Vision has pioneered the change to kerosene and cooking Gas as an alternative to wood on all trekking expeditions in Nepal. We do not have camp fires and we strongly discourage trekkers from buying wood-fueled hot showers in lodges along the trail. As a supporter of the International Porter Protection Group (IPPG) we also lead the way in porter protection by providing a good working wage for all of our staff, food and extra clothing for those working above the tree line, life insurance cover and emergency helicopter insurance.

Our philanthropic program ensures we ‘give something back’. Our current initiative is Community Project Travel. The concept behind our Community Project Travel range of trips is based on the ethos of “travel with a purpose”. It is a range of small group adventures, each about two weeks in length, whereby participants commit four to five days of their holiday to making a difference to a community in need. A portion of the traveler’s participation fee contributes to the associated material costs of the project. 

Your Financial Security
Nepal Vision is a government licensed and bonded tour operator. Going on any adventure trip will require an often substantial sum of money be paid in advance. Yet trusting a company you have no prior experience with is a risk. We, however, are a fully bonded trek operator authorized by Nepal Government Tourism and Civil Aviation, the Nepal Tourism Board, the Industry Department, the Company Registration Office, the Nepal Rashtra Bank and the Taxation Office. In short, you can rest safe that your payment is secure with us.

That is why we maintain the highest quality of service possible, from carefully designing itineraries for proper acclimatization, to upholding the most scrupulous sanitary standards while preparing and cooking meals. Our guides are trained for backcountry emergencies, educated in altitude sickness and well versed in the politics, cultural considerations and customs surrounding their region of travel. As guests to the areas we encounter, Nepal Vision recognizes the magnitude of our environmental and cultural impact. It is therefore extremely important that our groups adhere to the "Leave No Trace" travel and camping techniques in passing through local and foreign lands. We endeavor to be role models for those around us and hope that our travels contribute to awareness and change needed for reducing the impact of future tourism.

No Group Too Small
Most trekking and hiking tour operators only guarantee to run treks and hikes when a minimum number of people have signed up. Our minimum requirement for operation is one person, so you're free to start your trek whenever you like.
